Eagle Scout is the highest rank in Scouts BSA and requires years of dedication and focus. Scouts must demonstrate through personal skills; leadership and commitment to their community, exceptional aptitude, motivation and perseverance, and must earn 21 merit badges and complete a leadership project before achieving the Eagle rank. Less than five percent of Scouts BSA become Eagle Scouts.
For over a century, Scouting has offered unique opportunities to youth for spiritual, mental and physical growth. Generations of scouts have been beneficiaries of the camaraderie and skills associated with prescribed levels of achievement within the scouting program. At the pinnacle of Boy Scout accomplishments is the rank of Eagle Scout and it is a lifelong title — “Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.”
Since its founding in 1985, Troop 110 is proud to have 81 outstanding young men who have attained Scouting’s highest rank.
